Every child deserves the chance to walk into school feeling prepared. Yet for families already struggling with food, housing, healthcare and other essential costs, school expenses can quickly become unaffordable.
A missing uniform, an old school bag or a lack of pens and notebooks may seem like small issues, but they can have a real effect on a child’s confidence and participation. By providing practical school essentials, we can remove some of these everyday barriers and help children start the year ready to learn.
Through your support, Imam Hussein Charity works with families and communities in need to provide children with school supplies that are useful, appropriate and delivered with dignity.

Year after year, your generosity has enabled Imam Hussein Charity to help children and families prepare for a new school term. Our teams have distributed school essentials directly to children in need, helping reduce the financial burden on parents while giving pupils the confidence to return to the classroom prepared.
These moments represent more than the distribution of supplies. They show children receiving the tools they need to enter the classroom with greater confidence and families receiving meaningful support at an important time of year.
This year, we want to build on the impact of our previous campaigns and reach even more children with the practical support they need before returning to school.
Our target is to support 650+ children in 2026 with school bags, stationery, uniforms and complete Back to School kits. Every contribution brings us closer to that goal and helps another child begin the year prepared.
